Maths
Lots of Maths learning from White Rose
Play activities
Set up a shop for your family at home. Put the price tags on the items. Play shops with your family!
Make a toilet roll monster family!
Draw a portrait of your family.
Make a batch of salt dough. Can you make your home out of salt dough. Put it in the oven and bake it!
Make some playdough with a grown up at home.
You will need:
- 2 cups plain flour (all purpose)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (baby oil and coconut oil work too)
- 1/2 cup salt.
- 2 tablespoons cream of tartar.
- 1 to 1.5 cups boiling water (adding in increments until it feels just right)
- Food colouring (optional)
Mix all the ingredients together.
You can add food essence and glitter for even more sensory playdough.
Can you make some fruit kebabs? Ask an adult to help you with chopping the fruit.
Make a den out of cushions and blankets. Snuggle up in it and read a book!
Play a board game with your family!
Collect scented items, such as herbs, petals, soap, shampoo and make a magic potion.
